Clinical Care Lead

About the Role
The Priory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Care Lead to join our team. As a Clinical Care Lead, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and governance to our counselling services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with the Clinical Director and EAP Centre Manager to develop and implement a supportive framework for centre staff, ensuring a high level of clinical governance and leadership.
Business PerformanceContribute to the performance of the business by achieving service response rates, referral rates, and efficient case management processes, while ensuring compliance with contractual quality and service delivery standards.
Clinical GovernanceSupport the implementation and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with EAPA Standards and Priory clinical governance requirements.
Professional DevelopmentLiaise with the EAP Centre Manager/Clinical Director to identify training and development needs for counsellors and information specialists, and develop and deliver training programmes to support those needs.
Supervision and GuidanceProvide ad-hoc clinical supervision and guidance to telephone counsellor and associate counsellor teams, and support as required to the information specialist team.
Mailbox ManagementManage the team's clinical mailbox, ensuring that all enquiries from customers, clients, service managers, and team members are addressed.
Critical Incidents and MediationBe involved in scoping and coordinating the delivery of our response to critical incidents, workplace mediation, and professional support services.
Case ManagementSupervise and oversee case management of associate counsellors and specialist practitioners.
Audit and Quality AssuranceConduct audits of case notes and clinical outcome measures to ensure that they are being completed appropriately.
Complaints and Quality StandardsInvestigate and respond to complaints of a clinical nature in liaison with the EAP Centre Manager/Clinical Director/Service Managers, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
Emergency and Holiday CoverProvide emergency, holiday, and sickness cover as required.
Training and DevelopmentParticipate in training events and ongoing continual professional development.
DeputisationDeputise for the EAP Centre Manager/Clinical Director in their absence.
