Job Title: Head of Project Management Delivery

About the Role:

As the Head of Project Management Delivery, you will lead and manage a team of professional and managerial staff, ensuring their delivery, performance, and ongoing development. You will collaborate with other business functions to achieve project goals and oversee the execution of complex projects and programmes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of project managers and professionals to deliver projects and programmes on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Apply expert-level knowledge and experience in programme management to establish standards and procedures that align with professional institutions and industry norms.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • University-level education or professional qualifications in project management.
  • Professional project management qualification or years of practical experience in project management.
  • Background in the defence sector, preferably with experience in maritime ships or submarines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management and programme management.
