Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Financial Projects Director to join our team at Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing complex business projects that drive financial growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic financial projects that align with the company's business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize business opportunities and risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Monitor and report on project progress, and ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the company's project management methodology.
Requirements
- Accounting qualification, and university degree.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in industry or as a management consultant, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position, working 39 hours per week. The role is based in the UK, and travel is not required.
