Wildlife Conservation and Management Lead

The Heart of England Forest is a unique and exciting place to work, with opportunities to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity across our portfolio in Worcestershire and Warwickshire. As a Principal Biodiversity Officer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance biodiversity, working closely with staff, volunteers, and local experts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conservation biology and a passion for sustainable forest management. You will be responsible for leading wildlife surveys and long-term monitoring initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
Key Requirements:- MSc or PhD in Conservation Biology or related field
- Proven experience in sustainable forest management and biodiversity conservation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
