Role Profile

We are seeking a Wellbeing Services Organizer to join our team at Hestia Housing Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Good Energy Club physical activity project, supporting members and volunteers, and implementing the organisational Volunteer Strategy locally.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the monthly Good Energy Club physical activity timetable.
  • Support members and volunteers at all Good Energy Club activities.
  • Implement the organisational Volunteer Strategy locally, ensuring consistency in volunteering experiences.
  • Lead on volunteer recruitment, including identifying and recruiting volunteers, progressing reference and DBS checks.
  • Work closely with the Hestia Volunteer Coordinator and Marketing Team to develop marketing materials.
  • Ensure effective support for volunteers.
  • Develop a local volunteering database to monitor outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering sports to a wide range of users.
  • Experience of working with clients who have mental health issues.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Awareness of the needs of residents with mental health issues.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.
