Achieving for Children is a Community Interest Company that provides a range of services to support children and young people in Kingston, Richmond, and Windsor & Maidenhead. We are seeking a highly skilled Children's Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team.

As a Children's Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work closely with schools and families to provide emotional wellbeing support to children and young people. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional wellbeing support to children and young people through individual and group sessions.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on emotional wellbeing for school staff and parents.
  • Collaborate with schools and families to create a comprehensive emotional wellbeing plan.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
Person Specification:

We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant field, such as psychology or education. The successful candidate will have experience in working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. A qualification in a specific therapeutic intervention, such as CBT, would be beneficial.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
