Supporting Resident Wellbeing

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant. This rewarding role will involve supporting residents in living life to the full by participating in vibrant, stimulating activities that promote overall wellbeing.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping our residents lead fulfilling lives by getting to know them and their families, and creating personalised activities programmes focused on boosting wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess resident needs through meetings with team members, family members, and individual residents
  • Support providing stimulation and exercise to residents through a wide and varied activities programme
  • Build relationships with residents and families to develop care plans and activities that meet their needs and interests
  • Create personalised activities that engage residents and reflect their hobbies and interests
  • Develop community links with local groups and arrange trips and excursions to promote activity outside the Home
  • Support the roll-out of the Magic Moments initiatives and encourage others to be involved
  • Evidence and track activity engagement via digital and written methods
