Overview:
Quinton Davies is a leading practice based in Cardiff, seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing regular client payrolls, setting up starters and leavers, and managing payroll data.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of statutory payroll requirements, including SSP/SMP/SSP/PAYE & NIC. They will also possess excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Main Duties:
• Process, ownership, and completion of regular client payrolls (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) across a range of sectors.
• Reconciliation of HMRC account and liaison with HMRC on behalf of the clients.
• Resolution of day-to-day queries and liaison with the clients to request information for payroll processing.

Salary: £18,000 - £24,000 per annum.

Requirements:
• Communicates effectively at all levels with colleagues and clients.
• Technically up to date, including statutory payroll requirements (SSP/ SMP/ SPP/ PAYE & NIC).
• Payroll experience within a bureau or accountancy firm.
• Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively.
