About the Role
We are seeking a talented Technical Support Professional to join our team in Northallerton. As a key member of our Service Delivery team, you will provide technical support to our clients, ensuring that their ICT needs are met efficiently and effectively.

This is a 6-month temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, with flexible working hours available. Please note that experience working in an ICT service desk function is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support via phone, email, and self-service platforms, responding to enquiries and resolving issues related to ICT equipment, infrastructure, and applications.
  2. Manage and categorize ICT service management cases according to service level agreements and report data to ensure quality content for the wider ICT organization.
  3. Collaborate with the Service Support Team to develop and implement the Service Delivery strategy and roadmap, aligning with the strategies of the OPFCC, NYP, NYFRS, and Enable NY.

Requirements
  • You must be educated to higher education level in a relevant discipline or have demonstrated experience working in an ICT service desk function within a busy multidisciplinary ICT service.
  • You should possess a good understanding of incident and request fulfillment processes, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to form effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Adecco UK Limited and gain valuable experience in the field of ICT service desk operations.
