About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team at Huws Gray Group. As a key member of our external sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our wide range of products across our businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, key stakeholders, and suppliers to maximize customer opportunities and grow and maintain relationships.
  • Be responsible for all customer activity within a defined area, managing a portfolio of accounts across an agreed area.
  • Identify and develop new profitable business opportunities into the area's branch network and the wider business.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the local market conditions and large-scale construction projects within the area.
  • Add value to our customers' businesses through activities such as project plans, supplier contacts, and offering advice through your industry-specific knowledge.
Requirements
  • A positive and confident attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to be an integral part of a winning team.
  • A hunger for the sector and a passion for sales and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous sales experience and a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Resilience and ability to manage your own activities effectively.
