About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at the Huws Gray Group. As a key member of our external sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our wide range of products across our businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, key stakeholders, and suppliers to maximize customer opportunities and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts across a defined area, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales and customer service, with a strong understanding of the building materials industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
