About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Communications Manager to join our team at Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our internal communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective change communications strategies that drive employee engagement and behaviour change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Change Programme Communications: Develop and execute comprehensive change communications plans that address significant people impact, ensuring clear and empathetic messaging.
  • Set Strategic Direction: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to establish best practices in internal change communications, driving employee engagement and behaviour change.
  • Plan and Coordinate Change Content: Develop and maintain change content in the IC content calendar, ensuring a cohesive and joined-up approach to change communications.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer professional guidance to colleagues on creating effective change content, ensuring desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop Change Toolkit: Design and maintain a 'Change Toolkit' for Senior Leaders and Project Leads, providing a framework and tools for effective change communications.
  • Employee Listening and Feedback: Ensure employee feedback is incorporated into the change process, informing approach adjustments and stakeholder communication.
  • Tone of Voice: Ensure internal tone of voice is consistently applied across all change communications, promoting a human, empathetic, and clear line of sight to the change story.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Qualification: Hold a postgraduate qualification in Change Management and/or an IOIC/CIPR qualification in Internal Communications.
  • Business Partner Experience: Proven experience as an Internal Communications Leader with Business Partner experience, preferably in Technology, Transformation, or HR.
  • Change Communications Expertise: Demonstrated success in designing, leading, and implementing change communications plans that drive behavioural and organisational change.
  • Change Toolkit Development: Substantial experience in developing and implementing a 'Change Toolkit' to support leaders in leading small-scale change.
  • Large-Scale Change Communications: Experience leading, coordinating, and managing large-scale people impact change communications, such as restructures, redundancies, and changes to terms and conditions.
  • Compelling Change Story: Ability to create a compelling change story and associated communications plan across complex programmes with high ambiguity.
  • C-Suite Coaching: Proven experience coaching and advising C-Suite leaders in change, ensuring they understand their role in change.
