Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Regional Area Adoption Team at Kent County Council. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the adoption service, working closely with our partner agencies and managing data to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the adoption team, including data management and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with partner agencies, professionals, and the public.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Manage and prioritize workload, responding to urgent requests and deadlines.
  • Act as a contact point for the service, providing excellent customer service and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills.
  • A good understanding of multi-agency work and the needs of children.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Confident manner in liaising with the public, professionals, and organisations.
