Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lighting Design Engineer to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in growing and developing new business within our lighting design department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development of new business opportunities within the lighting design department.
  2. Work closely with customers to understand their lighting needs and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve sales, profitability, and other targets within the nominated customer account base.
  4. Utilize design platforms such as AutoCAD or ReluxCAD to create lighting designs that meet customer specifications.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  6. Provide excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  2. Must be over the age of 21.
  3. Must have no more than 3 points on your licence.
  4. Minimum 2+ years lighting design experience.
  5. Preferably has experience using design platforms AutoCAD or ReluxCAD.
  6. Strong stakeholder management experience.
  7. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  8. The ability to work with and develop business opportunities in multiple market sectors.
  9. Experience in providing total solutions for customers matching their specifications.
