Job Title: Business Support Officer

Join Kent County Council as a Business Support Officer and contribute to the delivery of an integrated and highly effective business support service. As a key member of the Integrated Childrens Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting front-line teams and practitioners across Childrens Social Work, Youth Justice, Adoption & Fostering, and School Attendance & Inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver administrative support to front-line teams and practitioners.
  • Provide professional administrative support across Integrated Childrens Services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure children, young people, and families are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Work together to innovate and improve services.
  • Support the development of staff through comprehensive induction and training.

Requirements:
  • Good proficiency in the use of ICT systems (MS Applications, Databases, etc.).
  • Confidence in dealing with a variety of multi-disciplinary professionals.
  • Ability to work in a highly demanding environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills, with the ability to collate and manage data.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
