Job Overview

The Pharmacy department at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented Clinical Pharmacist to join our Foundation to Advance Clinical Pharmacist Programme. This 18-month competency-based progression programme is designed to enhance your skills and experience across our diverse range of clinical specialties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert patient care and support lead pharmacists in the development, evaluation, and coordination of clinical pharmacy services.
  • Contribute to all aspects of clinical governance, including clinical risk and audit.
  • Participate in education and training, including practice supervision of undergraduates, pre-registration pharmacists, and line management of band 6 pharmacists.
Requirements
  • Previous pharmacy experience in the UK as a qualified or trainee pharmacist.
  • Master of Pharmacy degree at a British School of Pharmacy or recognised equivalent.
  • Registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council or working towards registration.
