About the ProgrammeThe programme is an exciting opportunity for pharmacists to develop their career in hospital pharmacy, working towards key objectives to transition from a post-registration foundation pharmacist (band 6) into an advanced clinical pharmacist (band 7). You will be supported to complete a postgraduate diploma at University College London alongside other set objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert patient care, providing support to lead pharmacists, and develop, evaluate, and coordinate clinical pharmacy services in line with the objectives of the division and the UHSx Pharmacy strategy.
- Contribute to all aspects of clinical governance, including clinical risk and audit.
- Participate in education and training, encompassing practice supervision of undergraduates, pre-registration pharmacists, and line management and educational supervision of band 6 pharmacists as appropriate.
We are looking for a pharmacist with previous pharmacy experience in the UK, a Master of Pharmacy degree at a British School of Pharmacy or recognised equivalent, and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council or working towards registration. Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues and championed diversity in previous roles is also essential.
