Job Summary

The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented Clinical Pharmacist to join our Foundation to Advance Clinical Pharmacist Programme. This 18-month competency-based progression programme is designed to enhance your skills and experience across our diverse range of clinical specialties.

About the Role

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the delivery of expert patient care, providing support to lead pharmacists and contributing to all aspects of clinical governance. You will also be involved in education and training, including practice supervision of undergraduates and pre-registration pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate, and coordinate clinical pharmacy services in line with the objectives of the division and the UHSx Pharmacy strategy.
  • Contribute to clinical risk and audit.
  • Provide education and training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist with previous experience in the UK, preferably in a hospital setting. You should have a Master of Pharmacy degree from a British School of Pharmacy or recognised equivalent and be a registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
