We're looking for a skilled and passionate individual to fill the role of Residential Childcare Trainer. As part of our vibrant and innovative team, you will empower learners to reach their full potential while being part of an award-winning national training provider.

About the Role

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide tailored support and guidance to learners, and develop crucial skills in them, focusing on Mathematics and English proficiency. This role requires occupational competence in a residential childcare setting and a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Empower learners by sharing knowledge of the residential childcare sector throughout their apprenticeship journey.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide tailored support and guidance to learners.
  • Nurture a caseload of 40 learners, ensuring they achieve success at their End-Point Assessment (EPA).
Work Arrangements
  • Flexible hybrid working model with autonomy to manage own schedule.
  • Monthly travel to visit learners in the area.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Estimated salary range: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum.
  • Included car allowance of £4,000.
