About the Role

We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Leader to join our team at the Imperial War Museums. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our mission and help shape the future of our organisation.

The role will involve leading the development and implementation of our HR strategy, including talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, and change management.

You will work closely with senior leaders to understand business needs and develop solutions that support our strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and career development
  • Design and deliver learning and development programs to support employee growth and performance
  • Foster a positive employee culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives
  • Manage and resolve complex HR issues and conflicts

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a similar sector
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Qualifications in HR or a related field (e.g., CIPD)
