Transport for London is seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Property Development team as a Planning and Development Assistant. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from conceptualization to completion, and to develop expertise in planning, urban design, and property development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic and development management planning advice to teams across Transport for London
  • Engaging with boroughs to secure appropriate planning policies and site allocations
  • Liaising with stakeholders on planning matters and leading the planning process to secure permission for our schemes

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record in a relevant field, such as town/urban planning, urban design, geography or another built environment / real-estate discipline. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this position is £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include free travel on the TfL network, discounted national rail and Eurostar travel, minimum 28 days annual leave, and retail, health, leisure and travel offers.
