Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport Policy Development Specialist to join our team at Transport for London. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies that shape the future of transportation in London.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and making a tangible impact on the city's transportation landscape. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining policies, standards, and guidelines for taxi, private hire, and pedicab vehicles.
  • Conducting research and analysis to inform policy decisions, ensuring they are fair, reasonable, and effective.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and input on policy proposals.
  • Preparing reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate policy changes and recommendations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of transportation policies, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
