Job Title: Transport Policy Lead

About the Role:

As a Transport Policy Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the city's transport strategy. You will work closely with the Head of Transport Strategy, the Transport Planning Manager, and the wider management team to develop and deliver sustainable transport schemes and policies for the city. Your expertise in transport planning tools and approaches, including transport modelling and appraisal, will be essential in leading the Transport Strategy team and collaborating with professionals in the Highways and Transportation service and the wider City Development Directorate.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of transport planning techniques and processes, as well as the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and succinctly. You will also need to be able to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes and find innovative solutions to existing and future transport problems.
