About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Resourcing assistant to join our team at the London Transport Museum. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the contact centre and reception, providing a high-quality service to all customers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication. They will also have experience working operationally in a leisure or heritage facility subject to a regulatory licensing regime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage the contact centre and reception, including answering phone calls, taking bookings, and responding to enquiries.
  • Assist with administration of the department, including resourcing temporary Museum events, staff for the Museum, space bookings, and compiling visitor figures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will also have a good understanding of IT systems, including MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
