Commerce Strategy Director Role Overview

Publicis Media is seeking a seasoned Commerce Strategy Director to drive commerce transformations for our esteemed UK clients. This exciting opportunity is designed for a commerce specialist who thrives on turning client ambitions into reality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary face of Publicis Commerce for select clients, leading discussions with passion and enthusiasm, and providing expert advice on digital shelf eContent, analytics, retail media, and business capabilities.
  • Develop and implement retail strategies to drive client growth, leveraging expertise from demonstrable experience in digital retailing within a retailer, brand, or agency environment.
  • Optimise digital shelf eContent, upskill client stakeholders on key commerce topics, and devise innovative retailer collaboration strategies to enhance client commerce ambitions.
  • Identify business challenges and customer pain points, develop frameworks, and integrate commerce data for strategic decision-making, ensuring seamless execution of commerce strategies.
  • Advise clients on commerce strategy, including business planning, product portfolio management, and data insights, to drive growth and improve customer experiences.
  • Support internal upskilling on key topics and emerging trends, fostering a collaborative, innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

We seek a methodical and adaptable individual who excels in building relationships and understanding client businesses to support their commerce ambitions. The ideal candidate will have experience in running commerce campaigns at an Associate Director or Account Director level, a deep understanding of the commerce landscape, and expertise from demonstrable experience in digital retailing within a retailer, brand, or agency environment.
