Job Overview

We are seeking a Governance and Risk Manager to join our team at James Stevens Associates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation for the forthcoming RSH Inspection, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board to ensure preparedness and achievement of G1, V1, C1 assessment.
  • Review and ensure compliance with consumer and economic standards, leading the documentation of our compliance efforts.
  • Provide advice and guidance on housing strategies, policies, and projects, ensuring alignment with RSH Consumer and Economic Standards and Housing Ombudsman Service (HoS) requirements.
  • Review and lead on the risk policy framework, assessing risk appetite and tolerance, and ensuring three lines of defence are appropriate and compliant with regulation and legislations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Housing Governance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Ability to lead and advise on RSH Inspection compliance framework, policy compliance, and regulatory changes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders on initiatives and projects.
