Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team at Red Kite Community Housing. As a key member of our Governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization meets the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of our organization for the forthcoming RSH Inspection, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team, and the Board to ensure preparedness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the RSH regulatory framework and HoS requirements, including statutory registers and constitutional documents for the Board and committees.
  • Provide advice and guidance on housing strategies, policies, and projects in relation to the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) Consumer and Economic Standards and Housing Ombudsman Service (HoS).
  • Oversee and advise on policy compliance with relevant regulations and legislations from our regulatory bodies, including the HoS and RSH.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative changes impacting the business and advise on compliance ahead of change.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of the RSH regulatory framework and HoS requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
