Job Title: Governance and Risk Manager (Hybrid)

James Stevens Associates is delighted to be working with a renowned Housing provider seeking a Governance and Risk Manager (Hybrid) to support their regulatory engagement.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will take a lead role under the guidance of the Head of Governance in preparing for the forthcoming RSH Inspection. This role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team, the Board, and the Residents Representative Team to ensure preparedness for the inspection with the aim of achieving G1, V1, C1 assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct an exhaustive review of all essential documentation, policies, and procedures.
  2. Ensure quick access to critical documents such as tenancy agreements, stock condition surveys, asset management, maintenance, and governance documentation.
  3. Lead the documentation of compliance with consumer and economic standards.
  4. Lead the preparation of assurance across the organization, working with colleagues across the business.
  5. Provide advice, guidance, and briefing across the Red Kite Group on housing strategies, policies, and projects.
  6. Review the risk policy framework and lead on the risk appetite and tolerance assessment.
  7. Lead and advise on the RSH Inspection compliance framework.
  8. Oversee and advise on policy compliance with relevant regulations and legislations.
  9. Stay up-to-date with regulatory and legislative changes that impact the business.
  10. Collaborate with senior stakeholders on initiatives and projects to improve service delivery.
  11. Report on external benchmarking data to enhance policies, strategies, and service delivery.
