Role Responsibilities

The Lead Clinical Risk and Governance Advisor will oversee the implementation and management of clinical governance and risk management activities related to screening services within InHealth Group.

This role requires both strategic and operational leadership across all facets of quality, governance, and risk management throughout the organization.

In collaboration with senior operational leaders, you will support the organization's vision to enhance healthcare quality by designing, implementing, and monitoring various quality improvement and effectiveness systems.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Leading the daily management of clinical governance and risk management systems and processes.
  • Providing assurance to the executive team regarding the quality and effectiveness of services.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring the development and implementation of realistic action plans.

Compliance and Safety

Your role will also encompass:

  • Implementing and overseeing the clinical governance and risk management framework.
  • Developing policies related to clinical governance, patient safety, and risk management.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
  • Managing the Risk and Governance Committee and offering operational support to the Clinical Quality Team.
  • Advising senior leaders on quality and governance initiatives.
  • Analyzing key performance data and clinical risk information to report trends and propose solutions.

Leadership and Training

As a leader, you will:

  • Guide the Clinical Quality team and provide support to clinical leads and operational managers.
  • Contribute to risk and governance training initiatives.
  • Assist in the analysis of training needs within the organization.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience working with healthcare professionals at various levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory monitoring and inspection preparation.
  • A background in governance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations.
  • A calm demeanor in challenging situations, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • The capability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans that align with corporate goals.
