Compliance Manager

AJ FOX COMPLIANCE, a well-respected national law firm, is seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to join their team in Buckinghamshire.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including Money Laundering Regulations 2017, SRA Standards and Regulations, Legal Ombudsman Scheme Rules, legal aid, Data Protection Act 2018, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, and the Lexcel Standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle client complaints and liaise with the Legal Ombudsman or SRA as necessary
  • Maintain the Lexcel Standard through effective policies and procedures
  • Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA)
  • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and internal audits
  • Manage conflicts and provide support to the firm's HR function
  • Deliver comprehensive training to the firm
  • Oversee the Client Due Diligence (CDD) process
  • Renew practicing certificates and other accreditations
Requirements

We are seeking an exceptional communicator with outstanding organisational skills who can thrive under pressure and manage changing priorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and IT skills.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

This salary estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the location, job responsibilities, and required skills.
