Mental Health Graduate Support Worker

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in Psychology or a related field to gain experience working with vulnerable students aged 4-19. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the mental health of children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children and young people achieve their full potential, and possess strong interpersonal skills to build robust relationships with students. They will also be able to remain calm and resilient when faced with challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEMH needs
- Increasing engagement, attainment, and life chances
- Providing consistency and equipping children and young people with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life
Requirements:
- Recent graduate in Psychology or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build robust relationships
- Able to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
- Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
What We Offer:

- Competitive daily rate: £90-110 per day
- Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4pm
