Mental Health Specialist Consultant

A unique opportunity exists for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join Willing Care's Mental Health Hospital.
This exciting role involves working in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment providing dedicated mental health services for men and women.
We seek an individual with extensive expertise in adult psychiatry, including mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong understanding of mental health legislation and be driven by a commitment to high-quality care and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), leading the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
- Conduct mental state examinations and assess referrals for service users, ensuring accurate diagnosis and appropriate care.
- Undertake essential investigations and implement tailored treatments for service users, participating actively in ward rounds and clinical audits.
- Lead risk assessments and risk management, embedding clinical governance principles and supervising reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' hearings.

- Extensive experience and knowledge in adult psychiatry, including mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act, Code of Practice, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Codes of Capacity.
The annual salary for this position is $150,000 (pro-rata), offering financial security and stability.
