About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and therapy to individuals and groups with a range of complex mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions to support client recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Pursue research opportunities to enhance clinical practice and contribute to the development of best practices in mental health care.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field, registered with the HCPC as a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience working in a forensic or clinical mental health setting, preferably within a Personality Disorder Unit.
  • Strong knowledge of complex therapeutic approaches, including Schema-focused therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy, and DBT.
  • Passion for working with individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
