We are seeking a highly skilled New Business Manager to join our team at Brakes, the UK's largest foodservice supplier. As a key member of our National Accounts team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building long-term relationships with our clients.

About the Role:

  • Win new commercial business by actively prospecting and managing a pipeline of potential opportunities.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with customers to position Brakes as their next supply partner.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets in line with industry standards.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality tender submissions.
  • Lead the launch of new business wins and collaborate with the implementation team.
  • Identify joint opportunities for securing new customers across the UK group.

You'll Thrive If:

  • You have a proven track record in new business development or national account roles, with a successful history of winning multiple sectors and managing tenders.
  • You possess superb customer relationship and rapport-building skills, along with excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
  • You have high-level solution selling and negotiation skills, good commercial acumen, and knowledge of key profit levers.
  • You're results-driven, energetic, and proficient with technology, including PowerPoint and Excel.
