Senior Sales Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Leader to drive business growth and customer satisfaction in our European Aftermarket Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow the aftermarket business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OE customers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage complex accounts, negotiate contracts, and increase Cummins' share of the customer's business.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the OES coordinator, ensuring smooth operations and effective support.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment across sales roles and internal stakeholders to support cross-business account development.
  • Champion the voice of the customer within the business, implementing projects to improve customer relationships and value.
  • Provide accurate reports and forecasts using Cummins tools and CRM systems, supporting business strategy and decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop less experienced sales and account team staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong relationship building and commercial savvy.
  • Ability to assess account status and define future targets by balancing customer needs with business capabilities.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and pipeline management, with a keen understanding of commercial dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related subject, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Significant level of relevant work experience, including previous customer and/or product experience, with purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.
  • Account management experience in the HD truck/On-Highway segment is advantageous.
