CareTech Community Services Ltd is a leading provider of specialist social care services, supporting over 5,000 adults with diverse needs across the UK. We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Kings Lynn.
The Job:
- To provide individualised support plans and activities, empowering service users to lead fulfilling lives.
- To foster positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, respecting confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
- To support service users with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and leisure activities, promoting independence and community involvement.
- To contribute to a culture of excellence, recording and documenting service user information accurately and promptly, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices to deliver exceptional care and support.
Essential Requirements:
- A Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Relevant experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and support, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and risk management.
