Retail Store Manager

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Retail Store Manager to lead and oversee the operations of the Kitchen Works restaurant at a major hospital. This is a quality-driven, customer-focused role that will allow you to showcase your retail management and employee development skills.
Main Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Ensure the timely and efficient preparation and service of food, as well as the cleanliness and hygiene of the unit, according to Kitchen Works and client satisfaction standards.
- Financial Management: Meet budgets and achieve 100% compliance to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Staff Management: Lead and develop a team of staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Customer Service: Foster a culture of customer satisfaction, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, health, and safety, and take any necessary action.
- Induction and Training: Ensure all new staff are given a thorough induction into their job, the unit, and the company, and provide ongoing training and coaching as necessary.
- Payroll and Administration: Ensure the correct compilation of the payroll to the latest regulations.
- Operational Food Retail Background: A solid operational food retail background, with experience in leading staff and a passion for brand standards and customer service.
- Leadership and Development: The ability to lead and develop a team, with a strong understanding of employee development and training.
- Food Hygiene and Safety: Excellent knowledge of food hygiene standards and the minimum of the Basic Food Hygiene level 3 qualification.
- IT and Administration: A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Communication and Influencing: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
