About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lettings Consultant to join our client's team in Durham City Centre. As a key member of the Lettings team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to tenants, landlords, and contractors. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a nationwide student lettings company that prioritises innovation and provides industry-leading accommodation services across the country.

About You

We are looking for an individual who can provide high-quality service, maintain up-to-date knowledge of lettings compliance, and effectively manage communications with tenants and landlords. You should have excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to see a job through from start to finish. Experience in lettings is advantageous but not required, as we welcome candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, or property.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include ensuring exceptional tenant and landlord experiences, managing communications via phone, email, Live Chat, and WhatsApp, and maintaining up-to-date lettings compliance knowledge. You will also receive and process new inquiries from tenants and landlords, advertise properties, and proactively contact potential tenants. Additionally, you will register applicants, arrange and conduct viewings, negotiate offers between landlords and tenants, and assist the asset management team during busy changeover periods.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to see a job through from start to finish. A driving licence and personal car are preferred, and travel may be required between all locations. Salary and Benefits
