Job Description

This Global Program Safety Lead position is a critical component of the Immunology Medical Safety organization at Novartis Farmacéutica.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing safety surveillance strategies, overseeing drug surveillance programs, and participating in the resolution of legal liability and governmental regulations.

The role requires strong expertise in clinical research, medical strategy, process safety management, regulatory compliance, and safety science.

What You Will Achieve:

  • Safety Input and Team Participation: Provide expert safety input to clinical development programs and actively participate in global teams.
  • Signal Detection and Safety Management: Oversee overall signal detection, monitoring, evaluation, interpretation, and appropriate management of safety information.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of medical safety activities.
  • Regulatory and Professional Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities or healthcare professionals regarding safety issues.
