Autism Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team at a Primary School in the Preston area.
About the Role:This is a full-time position, working 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils throughout the school day, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Use sensory integration techniques to enhance learning and promote engagement.
- Assist pupils with speech, language, and communication development.
- Encourage pupils to make informed choices and take ownership of their learning.

Requirements:The successful candidate will have:
A Level 2 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., teaching and learning, teaching assistant).Experience working with pupils with ASC and other SEN.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to providing high-quality support and promoting pupil well-being.Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
