Support Worker for Young People

CV-Library seeks a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker for Young People to join our team. As a Residential Childcare Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the care and well-being of children and young people in a residential setting.

They will be responsible for providing individualised support, promoting independence, and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct practical interactions with children and young people, including play, activities, cooking, personal care, and engaging with the wider community.
- Participating in planning and implementation of care plans, completing health and safety checks, and adhering to individual risk assessments.
We offer a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per year, based on national averages for a Residential Care Practitioner in Burton on Trent. Our benefits package includes opportunities for personal and professional development, funded training, and a range of rewards schemes.
