Aberlour's Mother and Child Recovery House
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team in Falkirk. As part of a trauma-responsive team, you will deliver residential recovery support for women and their children (0-5 years) to help them reach their aspirations.
The successful candidate will have experience of direct work with mothers in recovery, enhancing their skills and capacity for them and their babies. They must also have experience of working collaboratively with other professional agencies and a working knowledge of drug/alcohol use and its effects on women and children.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and implementing residential recovery support for women and their children
- Enhancing the skills and capacity of mothers in recovery
- Working collaboratively with other professional agencies
A competitive salary of £27,250 per annum, depending on experience, is offered, along with excellent training opportunities, a supportive team, and a range of benefits, including annual leave, an employer pension scheme, and deals/discounts across various retailers.
