About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Data Analyst to join our team at Unipart Logistics. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our understanding and facilitating informed decision-making regarding carbon emissions across our organization and the wider supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Capture and collate data across Scope 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3 categories to ensure accurate and comprehensive carbon footprint reporting.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare standard reports for the presentation of collected data, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc requests.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide appropriate documentation to meet necessary reporting requirements for all stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
  • Energy and Sustainability Analysis: Collate, analyze, and report on energy, waste, water, CO2 emissions, and single-use plastic as part of internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Communication and Presentation: Report to customer and internal reviews and meetings as required on all environmental and sustainability topics.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in data analysis and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role with industry standards and regulations.
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to leverage different technologies, such as Java, APIs, and data visualization platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to create online content on Google Sites platforms.
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Adaptable and able to react quickly to changes and requests.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Understanding of WMS and quality and customer-focused approach.
  • Business-savvy approach to data and its uses.
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
