CA Tech Talent is looking for a dedicated IT Business Analyst to join our team in Exeter. In this role, you will act as a crucial intermediary between business stakeholders and technical teams, evaluating business operations to pinpoint areas for improvement and converting business requirements into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Business Analyst include:

  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend, document, and convert business needs into actionable technical specifications.
  • Examine data to uncover trends, assist in decision-making, and design solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Develop thorough documentation and facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in change management, process enhancement, and foster strong relationships to ensure stakeholder needs are adequately met.

Requirements for the IT Business Analyst include:

  • A solid educational background is essential; a degree in a technical or business field is preferred. Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP), Project Management (PMP), or other relevant qualifications are advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of system integration, project lifecycle management (Prince2), and business systems strategy. Familiarity with local government processes, financial management, and ITIL methodologies is beneficial.
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization, and communication skills. Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships and analyze challenges to devise effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, specification development, and stakeholder relationship management.
