Job Description

Job Title: AML / Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

Yes Care Group is seeking a highly skilled AML / Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Compliance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Functions: Carry out administrative tasks on CQC Staff Plan and other systems to ensure reports are produced in a timely fashion to meet company requirements.
  2. Staff Support: Provide support to clinical and administrative staff in the accurate use of Staff Plan and other systems, including training as required.
  3. Report Preparation: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports when required.
  4. Audits: Conduct audits, including regular audits on Staff Plan to ensure appropriate access is regulated and record keeping audits.
  5. Data Analysis: Analyze data and contribute to performance improvements, working with Contract Managers where appropriate.
  6. CQC Standards: Be familiar with CQC Standards, Notices to Staff, Health & Safety, and Yes Care Policies.
  7. Deputy Role: Act as deputy for the Compliance Manager where necessary.

Health and Safety:

  2. Policy Understanding: Ensure that Yes Care's Health and Safety Policies are understood and observed, and that procedures are followed.
  3. Equipment and Facilities: Ensure the appropriate use of equipment and facilities, and maintain the environment in good order.
  4. Welfare and Safety: Take the necessary precautions to safeguard the welfare and safety of themselves, patients, staff, and visitors, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  5. Training: Undertake appropriate Health and Safety training to support safe working practice, including management.
  6. Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of all matters that they learn as a result of their employment with Yes Care, including matters relating to patients and other members of staff.
  7. Appraisal and Development: Participate in an annual appraisal of their work and undertake any training or development required to fulfill their role.
  8. Diversity and Equity: Ensure that all patients, clients, or colleagues are treated at all times in an equitable manner, respecting diversity and showing an understanding of diversity in the workplace.
