Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Administrator to assist our Retail Team. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess the ability to work independently while fostering strong relationships with colleagues across Savills offices. This multifaceted role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is organized, self-driven, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough due diligence assessments for Savills clients and partners in line with HMRC and Savills UK protocols, utilizing compliance systems, logs, and documentation, including land registry inquiries, terms of engagement, and conflict of interest evaluations.
  • Ensuring that client due diligence assessments are completed within specified timelines in accordance with Savills UK compliance management standards.
  • Providing expert advice and support to the AML processing team on intricate and/or high-risk AML cases.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (AML Analysts/Fee Earners/Admin Representatives) and external clients/solicitors to gather or clarify necessary information.
  • Coordinating and participating in regular meetings with fee earners to address any ongoing queries related to their instructions.
  • Monitoring conflict check communications across the organization.
  • Upholding confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Additionally, the job holder may be required to undertake other responsibilities as reasonably requested from time to time.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the property sector and experience in compliance or related fields.

Technical Expertise:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in AML/CDD/KYC (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with HMRC's AML guidelines (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
