As a Workforce Development Specialist at Simply Group, you will contribute to the growth of our People Team in Ashford, Kent. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in human resources, while playing a key role in delivering our Borough Plan.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing advisory services in attendance management, health and welfare support, dispute resolution, performance improvement, and job evaluation. You will work closely with the existing HR Officers in the employee relations team to support managers and staff across various service areas.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment. The salary for this position is approximately £40,000-£43,000 per annum, based on skills and experience. You will also enjoy benefits such as local government pensions scheme, sickness pay, life insurance, and a positive working culture.
