Senior Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Apheresis team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff, and contributing to the development of our Apheresis service.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in Apheresis. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized, holistic, and evidence-based care to patients undergoing Apheresis procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in the overall management of the Apheresis service.
- Ensure patients are provided with a safe, individualized, holistic, and evidence-based care.
- Provide leadership to all members of the ward, promoting effective teamwork and contributing to the development of our Apheresis service.
- Act as Divisional bleep holder and provide an on-call service as part of the roster.
- Education and teaching of nursing staff, and acting as a resource for members of the Apheresis Team, patients, carers, and members of the multi-professional team within Addenbrooke's Hospital and associated West Anglia Cancer Network.
