Senior Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising the role of named nurses in relation to care planning within the clinical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based care required for service users, ensuring it meets Trust timescales.
- Participate in setting quality standards, monitoring, and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
- Ensure post-holders understand and meet their professional role and responsibilities under the Care Programme Approach.
- Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health Act 2007 are observed, adhered to, and implemented.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with service users and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions with appropriate boundaries.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Mental Health (RNMH) or other specialism relating to the post.
- NMC registration.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Postgraduate qualification related to ward specialism.
- Experience of dealing with service users with complex mental health needs.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written, including IT literacy (MS Office).
