We are Harbour Energy, a leading London-listed independent oil and gas company with a strong global presence.

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in Financial Services. As a strategic partner, you will work closely with our Finance and Legal departments to drive operational efficiency and support our company's objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning HR strategies with the needs of Finance and Legal functions
  • Advising and supporting leaders in Finance and Legal on all HR-related matters
  • Developing talent management, development, and retention strategies for Finance and Legal professionals
  • Enhancing employee engagement and performance in alignment with company objectives
  • Ensuring HR practices contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate functions

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a strategic partner to the Finance and Legal departments, understanding their unique challenges and objectives
  • Identifying talent development needs and opportunities within these functions, promoting training and professional growth
  • Facilitating the performance management process, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and Harbour Energy's standards
  • Leading and supporting change management initiatives within the Finance and Legal departments, facilitating smooth transitions and maintaining productivity
  • Ensuring HR policies are consistently applied within these functions, aligning with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Providing support on compensation and benefits, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards
  • Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process for these functions, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent
  • Promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within Finance and Legal departments, contributing to Harbour's Values and Behaviours

Requirements:

  • Relevant academic qualifications, with further education or certifications in HR preferred
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with specific experience supporting Finance and Legal departments in the oil and gas industry or a comparable sector
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and CultureAmp preferred
  • Strategic thinking and ability to provide insightful HR solutions that support departmental and company-wide objectives
  • Strong understanding of legal and financial aspects affecting HR practices, particularly in the context of the oil and gas industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders within Finance and Legal departments
